Your dentist is set to be allowed to re-open as of the 8th June, following the latest announcements from the Prime Minister last night. So, what could this mean? Per a statement from the British Dental Association (BDA), it won’t be a swift return to the services you’re used to – with practices perhaps only able to open at a seriously reduced capacity.
‘This could see varying levels of treatments made available, with individual practitioners exercising their professional judgement on the pace of change,’ a spokesperson wrote.
‘We welcome the news, while also noting the caveat that availability and fitting of PPE, social distancing measures and appropriate cross-infection control may mean practices will have to move at different rates.Back to Press
