What should I expect after the crown lengthening surgery procedure?

Some mild soreness is to be expected for the majority of patients. Still, you can manage this with over-the-counter pain medication. A soft diet is recommended with a follow-up review with your dentist once the gum has healed. All the aftercare advice you will need is discussed and given at your crown lengthening appointment.
