Why do I need a filling?
Can I have a white filling?
Yes. In most cases, teeth are suitable to be treated with composite (white filling) restorations. Composite fillings are made from tooth-colored composite resins, which are carefully matched to the shade of your natural teeth. Our highly skilled dental team enjoys leaving you with natural-looking fillings that cannot easily be seen. We endeavor to ensure you can smile without being self-conscious.
Is the treatment painful?
No. We believe dentistry should never be painful. The area being treated will be anaesthetised (numbed) using local anaesthetic if there is any doubt. Your comfort during treatment is always our top priority. We use the Enjoyable Dentistry Technique™ for those who feel anxious about receiving dental procedures. This utilises a combination of hospital grade “happy-air” (nitrous-oxide) alongside visualisation techniques for a truly unique and tranquil experience.
Can all teeth be filled?
There are many ways of restoring teeth. Our dedicated team will advise all treatment options available to you. Where fillings aren’t suitable, other options may include inlays, onlays, or crowns. We endeavour to ensure that you have as many choices available to you as possible for a bespoke dental experience.
