What should I expect when getting a crown?

Your dentist will complete your crown over two visits to Serene. The first appointment is to carefully shape existing teeth if required and take an intraoral scan of your mouth, including opposing teeth. The second appointment is to fit your crown and make certain that you are happy with your improved smile.

Walking into Serene felt more like entering a luxury spa than a dental clinic. The space is beautifully designed, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the welcome was genuinely warm. It's nothing like any dentist I've visited before. Everything has clearly been thought through, from the complimentary drinks while you wait (I almost wished my appointment was delayed so I could enjoy another coffee!) to the pre-pasted toothbrushes in the bathroom, which was such a thoughtful touch. My appointment was with Dr Safa, who was exceptional. She was calm, friendly and reassuring throughout, explaining every step of the process clearly and taking the time to answer all of my questions in detail. I never felt rushed and immediately felt at ease. It's rare to leave a dental appointment feeling genuinely impressed, but Serene has completely changed my expectations of what a visit to the dentist can be. She is meticulous, knows her craft, makes the process enjoyable, and understands the little things (ie. a bit of vaseline on the lips so they don't crack during the procedure).
